Price, Payment and voucher issue


  • Prices

Price quotations are subject to change without notice. If for any reason the price quoted is not correct, the team of will contact you for authorization. Tips/gratuities, baggage or personal insurance, beverages or food not described in the product's description and all other purchases of a personal nature are not included.


  • Payment

All tours must be pre-paid, We process payment in USD, EUR, CAD, AUD and GBP. For other currencies, the price is indicative and the amount will be charged in USD at the conversion's rate applicable on the date of your booking.


  • Voucher issue

After payment, Barakat Travel & Rentals will send a confirmation / voucher by e-mail or by fax : this voucher has to be printed, as a proof of purchase, and will be presented to the service provider. All information regarding the travelers should be correctly given at the time of booking.
All requests for modifications/amendments must be sent by email to Barakat Travel & Rentals /
Barakat Travel & Rentals / cannot be held responsible for any problem that may happen if you don't receive or read carefully your confirmation / voucher. In case you have not received your voucher, you must notify Barakat Travel & Rentals / at least 72 hours before the date of service.

Cancellation, refund and procedure to cancel a booking


  • Cancellation fee / refund

Except otherwise stated, Tour or package or any product cancelled without due notice are subjected to a cancellation fee according to the following scale :

Short Tours/Attractions/products (with duration of one day or less) and not including train or flight ticket and/or overnight accommodation

Cancellation more than 7 calendar days before the services begin : No cancellation fee.
Cancellation between 7 and 4 calendar days before the services begin: You will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellation within 3 calendar days before the services begin : You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
Cancellation the day of the services or after : You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund)


  • Special request / Private tours /Attractions/products including train or flight ticket and/or overnight accommodation:

Cancellation more than 45 calendar days before the services begin : You will be charged 25% cancellation fee.
Cancellation between 45 to 16 calendar days before services begin : You will be charged 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellation 15 days or less before the service : you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund)
Cancellation the day of the services or after : You will be charged a 100% cancellation fee (no refund)


  • Gift Certificate :

Gift certificate are non-cancellable and are non-refundable.


  •  Please note that certain supplier apply more stringent cancellation fees, which might apply if relevant.


  • Procedure to cancel a booking :

Full cancellation of services previously confirmed by us must be followed by a confirmation of cancellation from us.
Barakat Travel & Rentals / will not be responsible for any cancellation not received and not confirmed back to you and might debit the relative cancellation or no-show charges.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability


  • The liability of Barakat Travel & Rentals / and its affiliate web sites is limited.

Barakat Travel & Rentals / acts only as an agent for the passengers in all functions pertaining to tours, attractions, hotel reservations and accommodations, restaurants, meals and services,
sightseeing tours and transportation of whatever nature, and assumes no liability for injury, loss, damage, accident, delay or inconveniences which may occur either by reason of defect, or as acts of government or
other civil authorities (war, civil disturbances, strikes, etc.) or from any cause beyond Barakat Travel & Rentals / control. Barakat Travel & Rentals / can accept no responsibility for the loss or additional expenses due to delay or changes in schedule or other causes.Barakat Travel & Rentals / . and his suppliers reserve the right to vary itineraries in order to improve each tour, to the tour members' enjoyment and advantage. Barakat Travel & Rentals / and its suppliers reserve the right to cancel or rescheduled any tour departure in accordance with operation requirements.


  • Travel Insurance

The Client MUST take out suitable travel insurance in order to take part in a tour organised by the Company. If the Client fails to have fully comprehensive travel insurance their contract with Barakat Travel & Rentals becomes null and void and Barakat Travel & rentals will no longer be able to provide any service to the client, including arranging or assisting with medical care.


Clients are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance. A suitable insurance policy should provide adequate cover for medical expenses arising through illness or accident prior to or during the holiday and loss of holiday monies through cancellation and curtailment of the holiday for insurable reasons. The Company is able to assist the Client in obtaining a suitable insurance policy. Clients making their own arrangements should ensure that there are no exclusion clauses limiting protection for the type of activities in their tour. Clients should satisfy themselves that any travel insurance arranged through the Company is what they require and should arrange supplementary insurance if need


  • Health, Passport, & Visas

Each customer has to check he has the appropriate documents for his journey especially (but without limitation) if he booked tours, packages or transfers including flight or visit of a country different from the country of departure. He has to own and bring a passport (with visa if necessary) or a valid ID card. No refund will be granted in case of lack or loss of ID documents.


  • Smoking restriction

Smoking on board car/van is strictly forbidden.


  • Luggages

Only three bag per person is accepted in car/van. Other restriction might apply.


  • Complaints

Barakat Travel & Rentals / acts as a mediating company between clients and local tour operators. In the unlikely event that you were not satisfied with your tour or transfer reservation, you may file a complaint within 1 month from date of service. A written documentation must be sent to our customer service team by email and this would be forwarded to the tour operator for investigation. Complaints received beyond the deadline can no longer be entertained and will not be eligible to any refund.
Any booking made with Barakat Travel & Rentals / will be governed by and subject to the Terms & Conditions. No variation to these Terms and Conditions shall be of any effect unless made in writing by and with the authority of Barakat Travel & Rentals.
